Obituary:
Joyce Ann (Elrod) Lanczynski of Chesaning Age 75, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 peacefully at her daughter Laurie and Son-in-Law Leo's home with hospice care.
She was born in Lapano [sic], Ark. on September 21, 1938 to the late Leeland 'O Elrod and Elsie Mae (Wadley) Perry.
Joyce was a homemaker most of life, with a few outside jobs thru the years. She was a avid reader of many books, it was one of her favorite past times.
She loved playing euchre with family and friends.
Joyce loved her little garden's of flowers of different colors and varieties. She was a excellent cook and a beautiful singer and loved singing along with Patsy Cline music. Most of all she cherished her time with her children, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Those left to cherish her memories are her children Laurie (Leo) Lanczynski, Patrick (Linda) Lanczynski, Tammy (Jeff) Miller, Brenda Tribble, Mike, Terry, Bob and Billy Tribble.
Stepchildren Lynn Croope, Mary Bemiss.
Joyce had 18 grandchildren and 7 great grand children, many nieces and nephews.
Brothers Gary (Clare) Elrod, Winston (Diane) Elrod, Tony and Terry Elrod, Perry (Bonnie) Maynard, Sisters Rosetta (Alan) Lanczynski and Rose Ann Maynard.
Shirley Wadley her special and favorite aunt.
She was predeceased in death by parents, Elsie (Bill) Perry, Lewis Maynard, and Leeland (Vickey) Elrod. Son David Tribble, greatgrandson Isaac Boyd, Daughter-in-law Jackie (Long) Tribble, Brother Marvin Elrod, Sister Clara Elrod, Stepson Mike Lanczynski and nephew Matthew Lanczynski.
Joyce has been cremated. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Donations may be made out to the family.

Age 88, passed away on Tuesday morning, July 12, 2011 at home. He was born on July 4, 1923 in Detroit to the late Joseph and Julia Lanczynski. He married Geneva Corey on September 29, 1985. They bought a small trailer and lived happily ever after. Geneva survives Joe. Joe served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the American Motorcycle Association, and the Chesaning Church of Christ. He also was a Golden Gloves boxer at one time. He retired from Mid West Machine in Owosso, and enjoyed tinkering and working outdoors.
Surviving besides his wife, Geneva, are his children and step-children, Julie (Les) Owens, of Clinton Mo., Mary Bemis, of Bay City, Leo (Laurie) Lanczynski, of Oakley, Lynn Crope, of Oakley, Tammy (Jeff) Miller, of Brant, Pat (Linda) Lanczynski, of Bannister, Ron (Betty) Burkeen, of Oregon, Brenda Tribble, of Wisconsin, Terry Tribble, of Bannister, and Mike Tribble, of Michigan; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and one brother, Stanley (Sophie) Lanczynski. He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Michael; stepson, David Tribble; stepdaughter-in-law, Jackie; a sister, Helen Mahoney; and a brother, John Zelacky.

Services were held for Edward J. Daniel, 73, former Petoskey resident, in Alma. He died November 13 at the Gratiot Community Hospital, in Alma and interment is in an Alma Cemetery. He was born December 31, 1900 in Petoskey and had at-tended school at St. Francis. As a young man he was employed by the Pennsylvania Railroad and worked in lum-bering camps in the Petoskey area. On October 9, 1928 he married the former Leona R. Wagner, in Cross Village. They resided here and then moved to Alma about 35 years ago. He was employed in a parts factory. Mr. Daniel was a member of St. Francix Xavier Church. Survivors include his wife; four daughters, Mrs. Ber-nadette Howell and Mrs. Dorothy Cowdrey, both of Alma, Mrs. LaDonna Garrett, of St. Louis, Mich. and Mrs. Rita Zimmerman of Ithaca; seven sons, Casper Albert, Richard, Bernard, Dennis, all of Alma and Harold and James, of Lansing; 30 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; four brothers, Ralph, Anthony and Andrew, of Petoskey and Theodore, of Detroit and one sister, Mrs. Louis (Bertha) Goldsmith, of Petoskey. :
